MAKE SURE YOU CHECK KOREAN WEATHER! IT CAN BE A BIT NASTY!

Weather is of paramount importance for travelers. But all the scientific information and numbers on the web are not exactly helpful when it comes to making out an itinerary. This is the real advice and info on weather experienced locals offer.

1. Korean Weather at a Glance

As you can see, Korean has freezing winter and boiling summer.

2. Korean weather by Seasons

wikipedia
Korea has four seasons. If you wanna enjoy your time in Korea to the max, you should definitely know which season you are visiting Korea and where you are supposed to go during that time.

Long freezing winter (Early Dec ~ Early March)

Winter is not the best time to travel. But, if you want to go skiing or see the breathtaking landscape of Mount Sorak covered in snow, it would be the right time.

Warm and Dry Spring (Mid March ~ Early June)

Korean spring is a heaven for the tourists and a great time to enjoy city to the max. Let’s get lost in old part of Seoul or hit Jagalchi fish market under the beautiful sunny sky of Korean spring.

Boiling Summer (Mid June ~ Mid Sep)

It’s not like Saudi-Arabia hot, but Korean summer is hot and humid enough to make Saudi Arabian not want to go outside and walk. But this is the best time to mingle with millions of sexy Korean youngsters at Haeundae or Gyeongpodae beach or enjoy clubbing.

Mild autumn (Late Sep ~ Late Nov)

Gorgeous autumn leaves completely turn natural landscape into a whole colorful world. Let’s take a bus and enjoy beautiful autumn scenery of Naejangsan Mountain. Though it’s a bit far, there is nothing quite like this beauty anywhere in the world.

3. Weather by geography

Some southern parts of Korea such as Busan are not as cold as Seoul during the winter with temperature barely falling below 0 degree. Jeju is like a different country weather-wise. Even in the winter temperature usually stays between 5~10 even in the winter.
